Introduction
Sara M. Rodrigues joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2020, as a Coordinating Associate, assuming the coordination of the Competition and EU Law Department.
With almost twenty years of experience, she has an extensive knowledge of Competition Law, in all areas (sanctioning procedures, search and seizure procedures, merger control, compliance, state aid and private enforcement). She has been involved in some of the most complex cases of the Portuguese Competition Authority (cartels and abuses). Sara also has an extensive experience in Misdemeanour Litigation, Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. She was a senior lawyer in the Restrictive Practices Department at the Portuguese Competition Authority, where she worked for twelve years. She is also an Assistant Lecturer in the areas of Economic Law, International Economy and Economy II at the Lisbon University Law School, where she took her master’s degree and where she is a doctorate candidate.
