João Rocha de Almeida joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2014 and became a Partner in 2023. He works in the Public, Administrative, and Environmental Law Department.

João is an experienced litigation lawyer who participates in arbitrations and many public law disputes. He has been closely involved in a significant number of high-profile disputes concerning the resolution measure to which one of the biggest Portuguese banks was subjected in 2014.

In addition, João has also been deeply involved in all sorts of matters and disputes pertaining to construction agreements as well as in real estate transactions.
