João Osório de Castro joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2005 as a Trainee Lawyer, becoming an Associate Lawyer in 2009 and a Partner in 2019. He works in the Corporate, Commercial and M&A Department, also developing his practice in Baking & Capital Markets (with focus in payment services), Energy and Natural Resources and the Angola Desk.

He has over 18 years of experience and develops his work predominantly in Corporate, cross-border M&A and Commercial Contracts, on behalf of clients from technology, retail, energy, and mobility sectors. João is well regarded for his international skills, namely in the Spanish market.
