Catarina Valente joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2019 as a Trainee Lawyer, and is now an Associate in the Public, Administrative, and Environmental department.

Her primary areas of expertise include public procurement, environmental regulatory compliance, real estate due diligence and energy regulation. She further advises clients on environmental compliance, energy transactions particularly in the renewables sector, and on regulatory matters.

Catarina also represents clients in procurement disputes, and supports M&A transactions through real estate and regulatory due diligence.

She is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Energy Law.
