Introduction
Paula Teixeira da Cruz is a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland, joining the firm in 2006.
She co-coordinates the Public, Administrative and Environmental Law Department, developing her work in this area, including Administrative Law, Public Law, Regulatory Law, Corporate Law, Urbanisation, Public Markets, Competition, Energy, Telecommunications, Waters, Waste, Environmental, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration.
Paula was an advisor for the Portuguese Government multiple times. She was also a member of the Superior Council of Magistrates, of the General Council of the Portuguese Bar Association and of the Superior Council of the Public Ministry. During her time as Minister of Justice, she implemented a group of measures to reform the Portuguese judicial system that was generally praised by the IFM and the European Commission.
