João Maria Cunha joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2023 as a Trainee Lawyer and became an Associate in 2025. He works in the Corporate and M&A Department, also collaborating with the Angola Desk.

He has two years of experience in these areas, having advised national and international clients on corporate transactions in the industrial, technology, real estate, and energy sectors.
