In view of the current restrictions to mobility, the ability to digitally sign legal documents and binding contracts may prove to be a very useful tool, allowing people to comply with legal restrictions, whilst simultaneously allow companies to maintain some degree of activity.

It is therefore useful to recall that since the Ministerial Order no. 73/2018, of 12 March, entered into force on 1 April 2018, it is possible to associate an individual’s capacity as a company’s representative (either of Director, Board Member or Manager), public official or professional titles to the Citizen Card’s signature.
